in your home has its own “home” too. That is, every object should have a designated spot. Think

about the items that you use on an almost daily basis and make sure that these items are easily

accessible.

Consider creating a landing zone near the door of your home to corral coats, boots, scarves,

hats, briefcases, umbrellas, keys, and any other items that you shed as soon as you walk through

the door. This way, when you’re ready to leave the house again, you’ll know exactly where to find

all these important items. If you have a large family, try labeling baskets with each family member’s

name and storing personal items inside.

Now, think about other areas in your home where clutter tends to pile up. Chances are this area

needs more organizational structure. That is, there are too many different types of items being stored
