ORGANIZATIONAL STYLE
Getting rid of excess stuff is the hardest part, and usually the least fun. But, with that out of the
way, its time to develop a plan for organizing what remains. Coming up with a plan is extremely
important because a good plan will lead to a good system that will actually work. I have, countless
times, spent hours organizing things in my home only to have everything out of place again in less
than a week. I used to wonder why it was so hard to keep everything where it belonged, that is,
until I realized I was setting myself up for failure from the very beginning because I was organizing
without a plan.
There are innumerable ways to organize and arrange a home. Organization is not one size fits
all. In order to figure out a plan that will work for you, you need to first understand your own orga-
nizational style. Once you know your own personal organization tendencies and habits, you can
arrange your home accordingly. It will then become much easier to maintain a clutter free home.

you and your home.

have the time to make your entire home spick and span right this moment, therefore; you’d
rather not do anything at all. If looking around your home makes you feel tired before you
even begin cleaning, then this advice is for you.
Perfectionists tend to dream big and set high standards for both themselves and those around
them. This can be a great thing, however, it can also be paralyzing. Instead of focusing on the big
