HOME ORGANIZATION FOR STRESS FREE LIVING
It’s time to put your energy to better use. Spend some time shopping for decorative baskets and
cute storage containers, or use ones you already own. Label the baskets according to what belongs
inside (mail, bills, schoolwork, magazines, etc.). Try to place items where they belong on a daily
basis so that you won’t have to run frantically around the home stashing unsightly items before guests
arrive. However, if you occasionally revert to your old ways, you’ll be able to quickly toss items into
their proper containers and avoid hunting for misplaced things later.
Peggy the Procrastinator: “I would go through that stack of mail, but I know I’ll find an over-
due bill and I just can’t deal with that right now.” Every time you begin one task you uncover
three more waiting in the wings. As a result, you put off starting new projects, afraid of what
might surface.
An attractive weekly planner is a great
way to stay organized and to remind
yourself of your daily tasks. This calen-
dar is made from chalkboard decals
and can be purchased on Etsy from
SimpleShape’s store.
