WHY AM I ALWAYS HUNGRY? REASON # 1 HIGH CORTISOL 7

But a lot of remedies that claim to lower cortisol don’t work. That’s because
they don’t turn off the triggers that signal cortisol: CRH and ACTH.

             Here’s what happens:

s CRH, corticotropin-releasing hormone sends a signal, straight
from your brain. Think of too much CRH as CRasH, because your

self-control is about to do exactly that.

s CRH tells your pituitary to send out another alarm: ACTH, adreno-
corticotropic hormone. I call this one “ACT Horrible,” because you’re
about to – for a good reason.

s ACTH tells your adrenals to pump more cortisol. And cortisol =
                           intense appetite.

But there is one thing you can do. Stop the messengers that trigger cortisol.
That’s the key. Turn off CRH and ACTH. Then you put the brakes on cortisol
             production before it takes over.

The next three steps are proven ways to do exactly what cortisol relief should do:
turn off CRH and ACTH - those powerful cortisol triggers. The last step is a
follow-up. A simple tool to help relieve the stress that keeps cortisol pumping.
